For the Brownies
Set you oven for 350. Using a little bit of butter and a paper towel grease a baking dish. Set up a double boiler and melt the chocolate. Be careful, you do not want the chocolate to burn. Melt the butter in the microwave. In a large bowl combine the melted butter and chocolate. Add the vanilla and espresso powder. Let cool for a few minutes. Now add the eggs and sugar and whisk till combined. Sift in the flour and add raisins. Fold all ingredients till combined. Pour into the greased dish and bake for about 25 minutes. Brownies should have crisp edges and soft middles. Cool and cut into squares.
